If you’re reading this right now, hi there! You’ve stumbled across my first ever blogpost on this new site of mine. Little weird. Running a blog is something I’ve always wanted to do. And now I’m doing it. It’s a new era in my life, and I hope to make an impact and bring all my readers along on this crazy journey.

I feel sort of obligated to make this kind of welcome-here’s-what-to-expect post, so here we go. At the heart of it all, I am an artist. Performing and creating have been my biggest passions, my deepest loves, and my wildest dreams from day one.

So, creating. Right. I write (and read). I rant a lot. I tell stories. I touch hearts tenderly or break them catastrophically through my poetry. I inspire people. I love to give advice. You’ll see that in a lot of my posts.

I love painting (sometimes crafting). I’ve dabbled in photography here and there. Makeup is one of my favorite art forms, and fashion is a hobby. You’ll see some of that as well.

And so, we arrive at performing. Music and acting. I’m a fan and an artist in these two fields. Theatre is a major part of my life. I play guitar (and ukulele). I like to think I can sing. These two things are at the center of who I am and hold a HUGE place in my heart. Without them, I would most definitely not be me. That will shine through on this blog as well.

I tried to keep it short and sweet because in all honesty, I can go into giant depths about all of these passions individually (if interested in posts like that, let me know), but you get the overall gist of what I’m about. Basically, I am a woman of many interests. I think this blog will reflect that. Nice to have you along for the ride.
